Terms and conditions of rental agreement
Tipi Pyjama Party provides the client, the signatory of the contract, with children’s tents, mattresses, sheets and decoration accessories for the organisation of themed pyjama parties events. The conditions below apply on the contract for the rental of equipment between Tipi Pyjama Party and the client.
All reservations must be made online to be validated. Payment of the total is required to secure the booking.
By signing the contract and making the payment, the client commits to and accepts the terms and conditions of the rental contract.
Content of the theme
Tipi Pyjama Party regularly renews the decorations, tipi fabrics and accessories included in each package and replaces the items shown in the photos on the website. The photos are indicators for the themes, but do not guarantee that the package will look exactly like the website. The space and requirements provided by the client will determine the package details, style and choice of decorations.
Tipi Pyjama Party is based in Montreux. Delivery, set-up and collection from your home are included in the package price for customers living in the area between Aigle and Lausanne. If the customer wishes to have the goods delivered outside this area, a supplement per km will be charged, i.e. CHF 0.80 per km for delivery to your home and CHF 0.80 per km for return pick-up. Tipi Pyjama Party will take care of the set-up and installation. It takes approximately 1 hour and a half to set-up an event for 3 to 5 people and up to 2 hours for double the amount of people.
It is the client’s responsibility to clearly indicate the location of the set-up. The client must provide adequate clear space for the assembly of the tepees and decorations, as it is not Tipi Pyjama Party’s responsibility to clear space onsite. All floor surfaces must be clean and dust free before the installation can take place.
The client agrees to be present at the time of delivery and must sign the inventory list for the chosen package following inspection of the items. Tipi Pyjama Party is committed to checking the equipment between each rental and to deliver clean equipment, in good condition, for each new rental.
A deposit of CHF 100.00 will be requested at the time of delivery of the equipment. Tipi Pyjama Party and the client will check the equipment together upon dismantling. The deposit will be returned within 5 working days. If necessary, the equivalent value of the damage will be deducted from the deposit.
Use and liability
The client is fully responsible for any damage to the rented equipment from the moment it is handed over. Any lost, damaged or destroyed equipment will be charged to the client at full replacement value of the item(s). The equipment provided is designed to be used indoors only, on a clean and flat surface. Jumping in the tents is prohibited. The client ensures that the equipment is used as intended. Animals must not be allowed to lie down or play with the textile material. An additional professional cleaning fee will be charged for material with heavy stains.
Tipi Pyjama Party accepts no responsibility for personal injury during the period of use of the equipment. The adults present at the event are responsible for the children and their safety. The equipment must be used under adult supervision and is not suitable for children under 3 years of age due to small decoration items.
Collection of the material
Tipi Pyjama Party will dismantle the equipment at your home before noon on the day following the rental period.
The standard rental period is approximately 18 to 24 hours. Longer rental periods can be negotiated subject to availability. Additional rental days will be charged at a reduced rate of 50% of the package.
All personal data provided by the client to Tipi Pyjama Party will be treated as confidential and will never be passed on. Upon request, personal information can be removed from Tipi Pyjama Party’s files.
Tipi Pyjama Party may use emails or a newsletter to communicate news or special offers to customers. By sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, the customer can unsubscribe at any time.
Use of images
Tipy Pyjama Party may use photos or videos taken during the event or set-up for advertising purposes (online or offline). Tipi Pyjama Party guarantees that no personally identifiable data will be disclosed, such as exact address, full names of clients or any other personal information. If the client objects to this, they must indicate this in writing at the time of booking. No charge will be made for the use of the images.
Up to 14 days prior to the event, the client may cancel or reschedule the booking subject to availability and free of charge.
Less than 14 days prior to the event, no refund will be made.
If the event cannot take place due to quarantine or federal/cantonal measures to combat COVID-19, the client may move the reservation no later than 12 months from the initial day of the event.
